Hi,

These questions are regarding the CPL requirements in FAR 61.127 (b)(1).

Can the 2 hour Day VFR and 2 hour Night VFR 100 nm cross country flights be flown solo PIC or must they be dual with an instructor?

And am I right in assumining that the 10 hour Instrument training requirement will take into account any hours from an instrument rating?

And do any of the above hour requirements need to be completed in a complex aircraft?

Thanks

With instructor.

Yes, but that does not reduce the total time requirements of the certificate. The 10 hours you would have spent instrument training must be used doing something else.

And do any of the above hour requirements need to be completed in a complex aircraft?
No.
