Terrible news, I guess its time to reflect on our own lives and the quickness with which things can end. Cherish every moment. Rest in Peace Ben

I never met the guy, but I wish I would have had the chance in the future. RIP. I'm definitely in for putting some money in a fund.

RIP BDHill!!! May the best come to your family, may we all aspire to be professional in you name, and may your family be in peace at this time!! I never met you, but you were a true professional on here!!! I had a few Vodka's in your memory tonight!!

This just sucks out loud. No doubt about it.

A quick thought on "crash dynamics"...one of the most enlightening courses I took for my undergrad degree. Until that class, I had no problems hopping in the car with no seat belt to cruise down the street know I would "be OK" since I wouldn't be exceeding 30 MPH. After the class, I learned that depending on the circumstances, you could be killed in a 20 MPH crash with NO PROBLEM. So, just because it looks survivable, it sure as hell may not be.

Anyway, I do love me some PBR, but I think it will forever more taste a little more bitter. :( Here is to you Ben...

I haven't known what to say since I heard the news yesterday. Hits home in some many ways. It can happen to anyone, no matter how competent. Leaving his family behind. Such a terrible thing.

Blue Skies, Ben.

Like many, I didn't know Ben or have many interactions with him on the site, but his posts were always informative and enlightening to read. A new father myself, this hurts even more, my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and kids.

Isaiah 40:32 says: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

That verse has always held a lot of strength for me, and it seemed fitting this sad day.

Ben, the world is a lesser place, but now Heaven sounds even more exciting knowing you're there.

"May we spend thirty minutes in heaven before the Devil knows we're dead." - old Irish toast

RIP

To the Hill Family:

While I never met Ben, or for that matter came anywhere within a thousand miles of him he still managed to have a profound impact on my life. His insight and guidance has helped me shape who I am and what I want to be. My profound gratitude goes out to him and my condolences go out to you.

RIP Ben and thank you very much for your gracious assistance with my training. The CD-ROMS helped a ton. We have all lost an incredible person. Jesus! This is terrible news. My best wishes go out to his family and friends. :(

I do not believe that when your time is up then your time is up in most circumstances such as this one. Do I think this could have been prevented? Yes, you betcha!!! How many 210s have to just fall out the sky before something is done about it?

I've been thinking about this all day and though I never met Ben, it hits very close to home in a very strange and unusual way from the past.

Sidebar: Am I missing something that's supposedly wrong with the 210? PM me offline.
