I go to St. Simon's several times a year. Cool place. Never flown into the airport though. Ever flown into the airport at nearby Jekyll Island? Thanks for sharing the video!

Both are great airports. SSI is where I went on my first XC from Craig Field. The approach to runway 4 is very pretty! Golden Isle Aviation is a fantastic FBO and has decent fuel prices for a busy "getaway" airport.

09J (Jekyll Island) is even more fun to fly into, esp in the 414. Not much to do at the airport, but you can get around the island pretty easy.

Next time you fly into Jekyll walk down to the dock restaurant at the hotel. I think it's called the Rah Bar. Go with a buddy or date and get the low country boil for two...you won't regret it. My wife and I go there every time we are in town. Great views!
