Falcon v.s. Flight Safety Academy?

I am looking into a flight academy to go to. Location does not matter to me. Cost is a concern and the quality of the school. I want to earn my airline transport pilot license and was wondering which one would offer the best path to that goal.

side note: I am looking to start with a Private Pilot License or I might start with no experience at all, any recommendations?

FBO. No school can take you zero to ATP. It takes 1500 hours before you can get your ATP. Which usually requires you get your cfi than teach or do other low time work for a few years before you have enough hours to get your atp.

Thanks for the reply. Another question, what if i earn my private pilot license and go there? Would that make it any better? Do FBOs have a big fleet of aircraft and simulators?

At least contribute something.

Yes, I recommend going in with your private if you choose FlightSafety.

Both will get the job done but I am betting Falcon will be more cost effective.

Depends how you learn, if you are a real self motivator, Falcon might be better. If you need classroom style ground schools, FlightSafety might be a good option. Visit both and then make a decision.

Falcon does offer a mix of both ground school & one on one instruction depending on the package you choose. I would suggest contacting Mike Melton at Falcon and he can tell you about all the different options available.
