It's a really cool school. I liked it while I was there, if you want to save money in pursuing your ratings, buy block time, then pay the CFI direct. I really enjoyed my time there.

I believe a few years ago they had 3 or 4 172's, a 182-RG, and 2 Dutches. I used to live down there and rented the 182 quite a bit. The planes were airplane, the newer ones were nice, and the older ones were older! They were reasonably priced and everyone seemed nice enough, but I only had about an hour of dual received from any of their instructors.
Did you pursue all your ratings like in thier professional program? Do you think airplane availabilty was ever a problem given the their relative small fleet? Also they mention on their website about DVD base ground school, do they offer any actual formal ground school?

Airplane availability was never a problem, pursued 2 ratings,they do offer formal ground school, the fleet when I was there was newer, you could save money on ground by you and your instructor doing it, my instructor did that and it helped me a lot. At the time I was going, they had a lot of Ex Delta Connection Academy people/instructors, so the qaulity of training was top notch.
If I'm not mistaken, Vic the owner hosts these pancake breakfasts every month or so and that is some good eatin!!! It's free to everyone. When I went, those guys really made flying fun, we had some good times over there, and Vic will help you out.
