FAA written

All of my checkrides, the DE has asked for the written score results and taken them. That was with two different ORL DEs.
 
Yep, same here. The DE took my written test results for both my private and instrument rides.

If one looks on the back of an 8710, it clearly states under Attachments: - Knowledge Test Report among other things such as Temporary Airmen Certificate and Student Pilot Certificate.

That's what I found as well, however in Examiner School they teach that different ratings have different requirements, i.e the multi add on checkride does not require a written, nor the seaplane add on.

I've got a few emails out to see what the scoop is.

In answer to the original question, in 17 years of aviation nobody ever asked me what I got on my writtens, not even in interviews.
