FAA to stop Positioning and Holding?

Heard on the radio the other day a conversation between a Guard KC-135 and a controller that the FAA is rumored to stop the call "position and hold" except for major (like class B, I think) airports on April 1. Both my instructor and I were kinda curious about this, and I was just curious as to any one else had heard this. Seems fishy to me...:whatever:
 
Tis true, except that it happens on March 20, not April 1. Even some class B airports won't be able to meet the requirements to continue the practice.
