FAA test changes

In the other forum that was posted by a link in the above mesage, they said you have to read the newest version of Aviation Instructor's Handbook. Well on the FAA website the date on the cover is 2008? So where is the newest version?

I believe that IS the newest one.
 
There shouldn't be any issues now with any of the tests. AFAIK the problem was that the FAA changed the test bank without giving applicants enough time to study the very new FOI text. Now as long as you have the current FOI book you should be able to study for the exams... But I imagine the tests may be a little more difficult.
