FAA response time

Anyone have any experience regarding how long the FAA is taking to respond to a deferred first class requiring a SI for sleep apnea this time of year if all the paperwork is in order?

Thanks.

Mine has been in for 8 weeks. Is it safe to say at this point they probably wont be requesting any additional documentation?

Probably not. The process is as follows: the file is reviewed by a certification tech who determines if there is any obvious information missing, it is then passed to the doc where it may sit in the que for 6 weeks or so before he sees it (the goal is to have the doc look at it only once), he reviews the file and either makes a decision or asks for more information. A letter is then issued reflecting either his descision or requesting more information.
