Is Mr. Bedford's background important to run the FAA?

Not a commercial pilot although the information is being scrubbed off line.

Important that another politician is lying or not?

Also wanted to reduce the 1500 hr. rule. Important as well since folks stated he doesn't know what it's like to be an airline pilot when negotiations were occurring.

“…the Transportation Department said in a statement, adding that Bedford had not “personally nor publicly claimed to be a commercial airline pilot.”

A) •. He skittered-around enough times at companies he was in charge-of to not have never read his own bio. It’s not like it’s been something typed-up 20 years ago and been sitting on a shelf in a binder ever since. Tomcatter-ass integrity.

B) Why is our Department of Transportation issuing clarifying statements about any public statements made from this guy over the years. I hate that this is where we are.

Compromised before launch. “Fly-by-Night air meant to say that they didn’t know there were cookies in the jar their hand was in, in a situation similar to that of the current administrator.”

According to the spox, mans even did the written and just never sealed the envelope?!

I might have even accepted “I always meant to finish that off, but then the 90 days passed and I never exercised the privileges (that I’ll admit to).” The pilat-equivalent of “I never inhaled.”

Sounds like a person that claimed to be a Chief Pilot of a large regional airline that went defunct. But when pressed, he said he’d been in the running to interview for it and a lot of people assumed he had the job and called him often for advice — but he was never actually chief pilot.

Just that, you know, he might have gotten some phone calls…

10?

Good grief, man, get off her!

That sounds exactly like one of my previous jobs. Now @Skåning gets the pleasure of flying with him. Can't miss the Aussie accent.
