FAA in CLT

Walking by the food court last night and saw the FAA with some kind of presentation set up with a table and two big flat screen TVs. All I noticed on the screen was a map of the US and little dots showing all the a/c in the air. I was curious if it was some recruitment thing for controllers? If so, interesting place to find folks

I haven't seen it, but I would bet it's more about the NextGen Airspace system then controllers.

I had a lovely 4 hr. sit in CLT today, and me and my CA stopped by and chatted with them for a bit. I guess they travel to a different airport every week to "educate" the general public about the Air Traffic control system.

Educate or WOW them into believe that any attempt to update the system or hire more controllers (or pay them more!) still won't solve the delay problems? Don't you people see it's hopeless!!!!!

I've seen them do this in DCA also. Kinda interesting when you have a 3 hour sit and finished lunch.
