Hi Dear Members,
i'm wondering some help regrading how can i use my FAA A&P// ICAO type 2 licenses and my 12 years professional experience in aircraft maintenance working as aircraft technician , to get a bachelor degree in the aviation field .I heard some US universities offer a short on line course based on AME license and maintenance experience to get bachelors degree.Basically my question which is best school for such course?and how much it will cost as i'm not US citizen and living out of USA.

Many thanks in advanced.

Embry Riddle has a four year Aviation Maintenance Management BS degree that will give you some credit for the A&P... Wouldn't be a cheap answer though.

Thank you very much for the advices ,really i appreciate your support. But most of the schools require minimum 2 years ,so is there any other option with 1 year schooling.
thank you

Riddle isn't the cheapest but they offer 8 week terms. Which means you get more semesters per year - more classes per year. I was able to transfer in my FAA certificates, including A&P, then one year and 21 classes later I was done. Eye our a koledge graduit.

Slightly different than what you were asking but I was able to accomplish their degree in the timeframe you are looking for.

You don't need it. I never saw the point if you are doing the job that you want. When I saw coworkers with degrees working in the same job as I was that told me the Degree just isn't worth it. I mean Degrees are expensive and what's going to give you a return on that investment? I preferred to get Airmen's Certificates. Cheaper, faster and just as effective.
