Supposed info straight from the company is Miami. Sounds like they actually want to position themselves to go for AA. Phx to follow.
I’m hearing the same thing. It’s just wishful thinking we will go west haha

Above everyone’s pay grade, here or there. Is PHX a consideration because of AA's declining interest in the area?

It’s called guarantee because I get paid that even if I don’t work and drop everything right? But but but the F9 pilots wives Facebook page says Phoenix and Miami were going to be announced soon!

"Why don't I have any (expletive) clean socks the night before a four-day?"That's a powerful group.
When the SLI came out between VX/AS, for the most part the pilot forums were quiet and guys just accepted it. The most vocal were two wives on the FB wives page for the airline. Hot dang. Speaking "up" on their husbands behalves.![]()
I don’t trust any woman who would marry a pilot. The “spirited wives club” on Facebook is something else. I weep for the children growing up in some of those households.
Entertaining like a demolition derby, except they’re not driving junkyard cars.
That group was started by a couple of kooks who didn’t like my original group with members who had lived around aviation for 20+ years. They would scream bloody murder when, for example, during contract talks, we talked about work rules being important. The “spirited wives club” on Facebook is something else. I am not a member of the “Spirited” spinoff group, so I cannot comment on the current state of the board; only the character of the founders.
*eyebrows*They were always nuts. Remember the one who was so excited that ACY was expanding, allowing her husband to upgrade there and they could move home to NJ (not that she was excited for him as she always bad mouthed him despite the fact that he’s a very nice guy; rather she just wanted to be near her family)? She fought with me and told me I was a bitter has been because I said ACY wasn’t expanding even though the only reason there was a vacancy bid for a SINGLE CA position in ACY for July 2017 was because my husband had to retire at the end of June 2017. He was getting my husband’s spot. Then your buddy in ORD agreed with her and told me I was a negative “B....” who was always rooting against the company. I banned them both and they started the Spirited group. Kooks!
They were always nuts.!
There’s got to be a way to try to suss out such crazy. They are all nuts! There's one who is still on the original page who asked me for loads for her husband last year. She had bought tickets but he was going to js on the airline I work for. So I sent her the loads and a few days later I get back a novel written on why my airline was so terrible, the gate agent wasn't helpful, people wouldn't move so she could sit with her kids etc. I asked her why she didn't board with family boarding (as they bought tickets and had young kids) turns out they got there late after almost everyone had boarded. She was blaming everyone TSA, the gate agents, everyone but herself for being late. I don't offer loads to any of them anymore.
There is. Ask anyone who has worked with them and they can tell you. But since that’s too much of a legal liability when the crazies don’t get hired for being crazy, instead we do it based on how many shelter puppies they’ve walked. There’s got to be a way to try to suss out such crazy.

Ehhhhhhh, I think this board points that pilots are just as crazy kooks, as the wives. But these are the spouses and partners. Often the pilots are fine people. It’s their SO’s who are crazy kooks on the internet.
supposedly new base announcement tomorrow. Rumor has it it's MIA, followed by PHX in the coming months....
