Extending into day off

My personal opinion is that extensions due to scheduling/staffing issues are something that we as a profession need to address. It's to push back a little harder than merely being satisfied with a few extra bucks in our checks. It's generally a pretty tolerable issue at my company but it does happen more than it should. It's incredibly disruptive at times to people's lives yet you often hear guys are more than happy to tolerate it. I hear all the time "well you get paid for it!?" No thanks I'll fly my schedule and go home as it was intended.

AMEN! I bid a schedule that is conducive for my paycheck as well as my personal life. Yet it falls on deaf ears when the preceding days all they talk about is how their home life leaves a lot to be desired. Here's a thought, go home and interact with your loved ones.
