ExpressJet Mishap with FA

Man, what the hell happened to this thread? Looks like a nuclear bomb was dropped right in the middle of it. Seems to be trending back to some stable ground now.

It is really amazing the twists and turns that some of these threads can take. Boy, there is like 5 different issues going on within this one thread.

She took it upon herself to give medical advice based on how she lives her life. I certainly do not hear how the FA befriended the mother and child to help or assist in anyway. This would have been the 'normal' thing to do but are we dealing with a 'normal' FA or one with a major hangover anxious to get home to her deadbeat live-in unemployed boyfriend.


Its obvious that based on the video and story the mom was level headed and not an admitted Walmart shopper.

I'd shy away from making assumptions about a flight attendant based on one video you saw on the internet and a bunch of news reports (bashing airlines is all the rage, no?). Normal people turn into raging idiots all the time when they're around airports. We have definately not heard the company or FA's side of the story here, and although she may have acted inappropriately it's a little harsh to imply she was emotionally unbalanced or hungover.

From ABQ to SLC on Friday we had a couple of passengers who had been nice, normal people get unbelievable pissy because of a pretty big reroute due to weather. We tried to explain it, but I guess they would have rather flown through the crap.

I hear ya. I should of make a disclosure that all of my responses and feedback are for entertainment purposes only and are usually bloated with stereo-typical, biased and over-generalized statements. Enjoy :)
