ExpressJet Interview?

Hey, folks. I have an upcoming dispatcher interview scheduled with xjet and was wondering if anyone here has recently interviewed with them, and if they could share any insight into the interview process. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Look up old expressjet post. Those are a good guide line. You can pm Flightcontroller he was great info. Study tip. Xjet company fleet/ fuel burn calculations. Everything else is basic dx questions. Most are already posted on old discussions. Good luck. I head if you get drug tested. You got the job* pending *

Thanks for the info. I had already glanced over the older threads, but was concerned that they might be dated, as one of the larger ones was from 2013. My interview is later this week, so I should know something soon, hopefully. :)

I also applied in December, and was interviewed early this month. The interview was very casual, which was awesome. Quick 20 question quiz which touched on everything from weather, to airport codes, to acronyms. A straight, to the point talk with manager, HR questions which were easily answered with previous experience aviation-related answers. After the interview I was told there would not be any offers made that day, but that they'd like to begin on some HR paperwork. I signed a several documents, was fingerprinted, and sent for a drug test.

Roughly 2 weeks later, I received an offer letter. I'm taking about a $6/hour pay cut to take the job, but I'll be moving from a no-benefits, dead-end, contractor job to an actual airline dispatcher position, with benefits, and a world of opportunity.

Hopefully this will provide some insight to all the lurkers like myself. I'm not looking forward to the drive to ATL.

Congrats! Looks like the process hasn't changed since my interview there a few years back.

Congrats. I was offered an interview at ExpressJet but never followed though. A greater opportunity presented itself.

FYI - if you plan on interviewing / applying - management is stalking potential candidates Facebook and/or LinkedIn profiles looking for you... Don't say you haven't been warned.

After the......issues they've had previous to this, can't totally blame them for that one.
