Expired Pilot License

I'm filling out a job application for a job that's not in the aviation field. It asks for licenses or certificates that I might have. When I try and put in my pilots license, it has two mandatory boxes. One for the date I got a license, and one for when it expires. So should I put down the month and year I recieved my commercial license? What about my instrument endorsement, I got it before my commercial? What should I put down for expiration. My last checkride was in April 2008 for 135 checkride. So do I put the expiration as 2 years from that, April 2010? What do ya think:confused:

What is the expiration date on your Pilot license? If the job is not Aviation related, why would they need your Pilot's license info??

Date issued is on your card, expiration date = NA

Because they ask you to list any and all certificates and licenses you have ever had. I have had a lot of licenses and certificates through the years and my pilots license is the only one without really an expiration date.

They don't have a box for NA, they have the drop down type for month and year only, that's what's confusing me.
 
I would just leave it blank, put your certificates elsewhere on the application. Remember your liscenses never expire, only currency and medicals do.

...and if for some reason you can't leave it blank, just use that farthest future date available.
 
If you must put a date, I guess you could use your BFR expiration date. But I agree that if it's not a job related to aviation, why would they need the info?
 
If it is not in the aviation industry as you say, I really wouldn't bother putting it on there at all. They can see from your work history that you are a pilot. No need to expand on a useless skill that is just taking attention away from your other qualities that will be actually getting you the job.
 
To continue with what MOST everyone else said three days ago
I just ran into this with my A&P and I just threw a random year in for the expiration. They wont know any better. :D
