Exercise/Cold-Induced Asthma

Asmanex is acceptable as long as the PFT is normal. You will need a letter from your doc or copies of the medical records to submit to the FAA.

The PFT results have always shown mild pulmonary obstruction disease. My physician however, just recommended asmanex, not due to the PFT results or my mild condition, but to help reduce inflamation over time and into the future. So in a sense, I haven't been prescribed asmanex because of my PFT results, he just wanted to give me something more to help out in the future. He has cleared me to fly without complications from his standpoint. I just have to get to the AME now. Thanks Dr. for all the help, as always! :)
