Are they still making you guys camo up for combined arms rehearsals only to have to wash it off before you go fly?

Thankfully no, but at the same time I’m the guy trying to convince people that digital distributed combined arms rehearsal is a thing. 30 guys staring at a gym floor not paying attention =/= Rehearsal

They did that in Korea when I was attending a maneuver briefing at a field TOC as the FAC rep. Two ROK AH-1 Cobras and two US UH-60s land near the TOC. As the only aviation person present at the brief, I’m watching as the crews exit their helos in their standard green bag flightsuits. Remove their helmets and survival vests, don their ALICE web gear, paint up their faces, don their Kevlar helmets, and show up to the brief. Following the brief, they return to their birds, doff all the ground gear, cleaning their faces off, don their flight gear, board their birds and launch. Weird Army-isms.
