EWR radios and radar fail again

If I was as overworked as you are I'd jump at the chance for any reason to take a few paid days off. You apparently didn't, maybe you weren't there when the • hit the fan, but because you're actually doing the job do you think the trauma callouts are legitimate? I understand if you have a script to read from if asked this question, but if you can be honest do you think those that called out were traumatized or simply exhausted? I hope you you understand I'm not trying to dig for an article, this site and maybe one other are the only places I talk about aviation unless I'm asked a direct question.

I unfortunately came back from break 2 minutes after the scopes went black. I think the leave is valid, especially since it’s not the first time and is an ongoing issue.

As @NovemberEcho stated earlier, he was one of the main drivers of the FAA moving the Newark sector to PHL. It's at least a partially self-inflicted wound.

I think he's just an easy scapegoat that you give way too much credit for the amount of pull he has with the FAA.

Man, before I sound like too much of company cheerleader though, I got to go file a grievance.

Every morning all the stakeholders in NY get on a telecon and ATC briefs the dispatches of all the majors about wx, construction, and whatever else and makes recommendations on the operation and at the end of the telecon we do what the airlines want. The Majors have A LOT of sway on what the Air Traffic Organization does.

Man we have been prevented from lifting GDP’s because United didn’t want us to. The FAA works for the airlines and manufacturers, not the flying public.
