How long do you guys see this hiring wave lasting?
Not sure why I would want to lock myself into one airline.

Unless companies like Sallie Mae open up their checkbook again I do not see that changing.
God I hope they don't. My loan has been sold to be serviced different companies twice. The new company, as hard as it may be to imagine, it's FAR worse on their best day than Sallie was on her worst.
You can probably negotiate a large discount if you pay it off in a lump sum.
The desperation of these companies to hire warm bodies is quite impressive.

Those jets were not that shiny when I worked there, and now they're letting @Tld get her grubby hands all over them, too.Because shiny jetzz!!!
Yeah, and we all know what happened after that period of irrational exuberance, too. Right?Whatever answer anyone gives you is a total guess out of their ass. Way too many variables.
I have not seen hiring like this since 2007-2008. The thing about that wave is airlines could hire 250 hour guys and there were plenty of them to get. The difference about this wave is american student pilot enrollment is at an all time low. Unless companies like Sallie Mae open up their checkbook again I do not see that changing.
Do we?Those jets were not that shiny when I worked there, and now they're letting @Tld get her grubby hands all over them, too.
