I did not complete the tech portion of the interview I was told that is accurate as well.

From what they said, they're planning to hire a lot of FOs this year though they didn't provide a target number as far as I can remember.

Just out of curiosity how did you pass the interview without completing the tech portion? I think the # I heard for new hires was about 350 for the year due to fill in for those leaving for flow and picking up flying.

The tech portion isn't required for the RTP program applicants, since they have zero expectation of experience with airplanes. 350 sounds about right, they said anywhere from 20-60 a month for new hire training.

hey guys. I had a interview with Envoy scheduled few days ago and unfortunately i was sent back home without any explanation. The interview didnt even start. Do you guys have any idea what is going on? Im so disappointed. I always wanted fly for Envoy and consequently AA. I've never had any bad background like accidents or violation. I tried contact the RH but they give me a "standard" answer like "we appreciate your interest in Envoy but we are unable to consider you for a pilot position at this time. You may reapply in 30 days if you so desire." It doesn't make any sense.

Ah the dreaded "bring your stuff" summons.
They should have given you the reason. But if you took the tech portion and then they sent you home after that, it would be reasonable to assume that was the reason.

"Unfortunately you are not able to make your interview at that date but you can reapply in 30 days if you desire. The company policy doesn't allow me (the interviewer) to provide you any kind of debriefing or explanation"

They should have given you the reason. But if you took the tech portion and then they sent you home after that, it would be reasonable to assume that was the reason.

The interview didnt even start. I only gave them my paperwork. I dont know what i missed or failed

They probably found something in your paperwork then, or you were missing an item they wanted. Envoy wants everything to the letter exactly the way it's written in their info. I would suggest going over your paperwork and app carefully, and try again in 30 days. Best of luck!
