Envoy Air hiring.

I've heard talk of a "structured draw down" at Eag... err Envoy for a while, even before the pilots took their "hell no" stance. Returning the 145's and not filling positions vacated with move ups... That being said, if I were new to the game and looking to break in, Envoy isn't the worst choice. Just don't throw away those moving boxes in case your walking papers don't include instructions to report to the AA dispatch office.

When the AA hiring starts I am sure every envoy dispatcher will put in for the 12 openings. AA has been slow to announce, but would expect something soon.

What will be weird is that for bidding and job security and eventually vacation too once Envoy loses company seniority with AA, people that were extremely junior at Eagle and hired by AA will now be senior to them at AA. Even in a system where the schedule is 6-3, 6-3, 6-6 and rotating mornings, afternoons, and midnights, seniority is everything.

There are still about 10 dispatchers slowly finishing up their international training from last years classes. It could be another month or two before everyone from last year is signed off. As the last remaining dispatchers finish training, I would expect a posting for new dispatchers will go out then if they do indeed decide to run another class.

Ah you beat me.

I was pulling my hair trying to reapply to the vacancy. There's a bug with the dates claiming that I haven't fulfilled the 5 year history requirement when I clearly did. Terrible system. :bang:

Having worked for Envoy before (when it was American Eagle). I think you just need to put something in the box at the bottom of the page to explain what you were doing in that time between jobs. Something like "school" or "N/A"

Last time I applied at Envoy for the dispatch position I was having difficulty locating where to attach my resume...is there even a place to attach a resume?

Unfortunately I couldn't find one, my suggestion is bring a copy of your resume with you to the interview, just in case.

Were you able to get past it? I never was and then the posting closed. Or so the website said, anyway.

Did a little bit of trial and error to get an acceptable date range and included my whereabouts during that time. It appears it doesn't take account of my recent education a couple months ago.

Just write something in the final box that will account for any time missed. It isn't all that complicated, the thing is that no matter how much time you account for the system still wants to see you account for the (nonexistent) unemployed period.
