engine loss

See? I told you. It's true, whether we want to believe it or not. :D

None of us ever wants the "witness" who was in another plane and heard the exchange on the radio....as he's being interviewed by the media, to be saying:

"...yeah, that pilot did an awesome job of recovering the airplane. I heard the whole thing on the radio."

Reporter: "How did he sound? Did he seem concerned? We all remember the Sully ATC tapes and he sounded....."

"No, he was screaming like a girl, actually...."

:D

If I ride one in, I want to sound like Ben Hill on the radio. Bro cans an engine, and he was so calm on the radio I swear I heard him crack open a beer.

Nice job!!! Last week I had a single engine stop producing power . .had to put it down in a field!! Hey, so you now know how you will react in an emergency! GREAT JOB!!!!!!:rawk:

Just got the verdict:

#1 cylinder sucked in the exhaust valve seal, so the fuel/air mixture was doing nothing except going right out the exhaust.
