My flight school has a Cherokee 140 that has a Hobbs wired to the master. I wonder how much extra flight time I have that is the result of students preflighting...

I know the Hobbs is wired to the master since they have left the master on only to find the Hobbs ticked and extra .7 hours before the battery died.

Heck of a lot better than southern CA (Although the northern part seems nice).
