I don't work for them, but figured I would post since I work next door at Compass..

It takes you to airlineapps.com but it doesn't cost to apply for a Dispatcher opening.
I think they run all their applicants there.

Job app closes on the 15th of April.

I started at XJ which is now part of Endeavor. It is a really good first gig and now being based right at the airport I think it would be a good commute gig.

That's the only part of endeavor that really isn't good, otherwise it's the best place I've ever worked by far. A single person without family or serious hobbies can do ok there and eventually they will give us more money.
 
I'll throw my name in the hat, despite my previous "anywhere but MSP" post lol.

What are the main shift start times?
 
Pay is not good but what do you expect from a regional. Besides that I think it's a great place to work and gain experience. Midnight shifts start at 11pm. Am shifts start at 2:45,3:45,4:30. Late AM is 5 and 6. PM shifts 12:30, 13:30 and 14:15. You will start on AM with your first bid but probably move quick in senority. This is the third class including mine since I started late last year. Supposed to be adding more flights as well.
 
We have start times every hour from 2a to 8a. Last shift starts at 4p. And as far as Endeavor pay I was under the impression it was $14.32/hr, which isn't the worst in the regional world. And regardless how you feel about MSP in general, you could do a lot worse when it comes to flight options out of your base city.
 
I wish I knew the thought process behind the 2:45 start. Unfortunately, I only dispatch. 2:45 is not fun at all and 3:45 is not much better.
 
Applied, got an email for a phone interview a couple days ago, supposed to do it this afternoon. Will report on how it goes.

If this works out, I'll have to choose between Endeavor and GoJet; I had an in-person interview yesterday with G7 and they said I should be expecting a tentative offer this week.

GoJet pays 16/hr plus benefits on UA/DL, 9E pays 14.30/hr (minus union dues as well) and has only DL bennies, though they're higher priority than G7. Both 4 10's. Gonna be a tough choice.
 
Had two coworkers transfer from GoJet to Republic. They said get out of NoGoJet as soon as you possibly can.

Take it for what its worth, but thats two separate peoples opinions.

shouldn't really be a choice... if you can get on at 9E do it... your benefits at G7 are going to be terrible, remember they are owned by Hulas.. and as far as having flight bennies on UA/DL won't really matter, you'll be so far down the seniority list, it's nearly impossible to non-rev on UA (paying segment fees). You'll be able to CASS on whomever you need to if you get on at 9E so it shouldn't really be an important factor.
 
Just finished the 9E phone interview with a shift manager, went very smoothly, asked me a couple basic dispatch questions, a couple scenario questions, and a few general interview questions. They said I should hear from them within the next few days to do a face-to-face.

I googled and did a forum search for Hulas and didn't find much, is he just a bad owner? Also do you really pay segment fees on every UA flight as a regional employee?

I'm guessing you work for Compass, are they a bit better? I have a friend who's a dispatcher there, he says it's a good place to work. I think I jumped at G7 because I've only had my license for less than two weeks, they were the first ones to respond to my application and set up an interview, plus their pay was higher than any other regional I applied to. I'm still trying to get a feel for which regionals are decent and which aren't.

I agree with the last couple posters, if you can get 9E, take it. They are in a better position then G7 in alot of ways. And 9E doesnt have Lido. And don't base your choice on travel benefits....

Plus....MSP > STL :)
