Endeavor Air

Ok thanks for the quick reply. Do you like it there? Is CVG easy to get or ATL?

Yeah, for a regional, it's probably the best in the industry. My aunt died a couple of years ago in the middle of a trip. I called the base chief pilot and in 5 minutes, they scheduled me back to a base and positive spaced me home. My quality of life is great and we have a really good commuter policy. You should be able to hold any base out of training. Our latest vacancy had a lot of new hire openings, but no guarantees. Don't go to CVG if you commute. The lines aren't commutable.

You could get either on the 900 within 6 months or so; CVG is signifigantly more junior however.

Pretty much what I said in what you quoted. There were plans for growth that didn't happen, twice. Then, once we were finally growing, covid happened. This airline is a merger of about 5 different airlines, so we have quite a few senior pilots at the top not going anywhere. When I was hired, they were hiring street captains and then the music stopped. With that said, someone hired tomorrow will likely upgrade as soon as they get the company mins. We are hiring like crazy and losing guys to the LCCs and majors.
I completely misread what you wrote. I thought you had another 3-5 years to upgrade not a total of 3-5 years.

We just got an AIP to flow to Delta. Lots of ins and outs and what have yous, but good news nonetheless.
I'm pretty happy for the 9E guys. When the whole thing goes to arbitration over the DAL scope side of the deal, please remember that it's not supposed to be a war with the 9E pilot group.

It will be interesting to see what happens in this situation. Like if Endeavor now ups their standards as a result of a possible flow. I.E. all EDV pilots have to have degrees. Or have a degree by the time they flow. I just don't see Delta letting a pilot group flow to mainline without the parchment.

No metrics required other than 30 months on property and being a captain. There are some complex issues with DALPA, scope, and what not. We have an aip, but it isn't a TA yet, so still lots of stuff to work out.

Is it true that the flow is just for guys currently on property, no new hires will get it?

For current Endeavor boys and girls, is there an amount of time one should wait before pinging recruitment’s email? I applied in mid-March and my status changed to “Under Review” on April 7th. Crickets since then. I know they’re getting crunched with applicant volume, but I see in other areas of the web that non-prior CJO, non-ATP candidates have been getting calls.

I’m 1600+, ATP, Citation typed, Part 135 current, with a clean record. To be clear, I’m happy that *anyone* is seeing movement right now, but just a little surprised I haven’t heard anything yet.

I've heard some horror stories about our recruitment process. It's a mess right now. Go ahead and call pilot recruiting or email them. Worst case, it shows them you're interested in the job.

So, the flow TA is out ? What about the bit below ? Assuming for purposes of discussion this gets fully implemented, does it exclude pilots hired AFTER the date of signing ?:

1. General

a. Delta, Endeavor, and the Endeavor pilots, as represented by the Association, agree to make the hiring and flow provisions of LOA 9 available at Endeavor.

b. An Endeavor pilot on the Endeavor pilot seniority list as of [the date of signing of this Agreement] will be considered an “eligible Endeavor pilot” who may flow up to Delta under paragraph 13. of this Agreement.

Yes. Only applies to current pilots.
