Anyone know if endeavor makes applicants take an assessment before an interview?

I interviewed there back in 2022 and received an offer. Wound up going with another regional but Endeavor would have very much been my choice otherwise. I hear it’s a great way to eventually get to United.

Is that because its close to Chicago and they like to poach from Regionals they don’t do business with? Because I’ve seen people say its best if you want to go to Delta but I can’t imagine them wanting to poach from their own subsidiary.

Historically it has definitely not been the case that if you want Delta, Endeavor is the best odds. The day i started ojt there, they laughed at me when i said delta was my goal.. delta hadnt taken one from edv in a WHILE. Late 2018 till pre-covid, they started taking more. Maybe during the boom too. But that was the result of a pretty good by edv management. Now some of them have moved on and my understanding is it's dried up a bit again.
 
There was 2 this year that went to delta. However, the majority do end up going to United. It’s a great place to work. They’re fully staffed right now so flight loads are light depending on the shift. You can float all your holidays so you basically end up with 4+ weeks of paid vacation. 4 days vacation = 10 days off with the 4 on 3 off schedule. They let you go -40 hours into accrued vacation time as well. Flexible schedule, unlimited shift swaps - some do 8 on 6 off.
