good point lol. the first time i seen a 777 in real life.....it looked like no big deal....until a 737 taxxied in behind it...then it was like......whoa !!

Yea the article said that Embraer made the 170 with low time pilots in mind.
Figuring that the average captain would maybe have 2000 hrs. and the co-pilot would have 500 tt and up!
So with that in mind it was created as a very,very low work load plane.
Incidently why do you want to stay away from the 170?

I like where Im based, Better flight benefits, Pay isnt high enough on the 170 to justify another move since I dont want a commute. etcetc etc.
 
I like it..but im going to be following B9 and their progress with the 190...I wonder how long those pilots will drink the company kool-aid before they realize they are getting shafted.
