I use LBP and APDL. The reason I haven't bought an iPhone yet was because LogTen won't sync with a PC, and it's a royal pain to export to LBP. Apparently, there's a $10 app out that is easier to sync to LBP on a PC, so I'll finally make the jump sometime this year. It's DAMN convenient to log your flights as you block in/block out, then just sync it up to the computer when you get home.

I used to keep a paper backup, but I stopped doing it about a year ago. The whole "finishing a page" excitement wears off after you fill up one of the Jepp Professional size logbooks.....

The Professional Edition of Logbook Pro for about 100 bucks is licensed for use on 2 PC's. It also allows you to sync the logbook between 2 PC and keep both of them up to date.

Once you buy the software you own and they don't lock you out of data like some companies do when a license expires. It also can export to text, Excel etc so your data isn't locked into to.

Flogger for the Iphone is a descent log that will create a file that can be imported into Logbook Pro. It is a descent app until they get their Iphone app out.

They also have a data entry service and can import most of your other e-logs into their program.

Yep, zululog.com/flightlogg.in and I actually paid for safelog and safelogweb a few years ago.

Logshare was bought out, so I'm not using them anymore.

Redoverwhite.com is new and still free. I like them but they still have some nuances to their program they have to resolve. They are diligent about it.
 
Well after over a year owning the software I finished this morning transcribing 9403.9 hours to logbook pro.

Thoughts during this Momentous occasion? Garbage in - garbage out. Hope I didn't make too many transcription errors!

Woah!! I started mine when I had about 800 hours, and that took me an entire weekend! I can't imagine logging 9500 hours!!!!

Open your log in the spreadsheet view and use the check logbook for errors button. It will point out any entries that have basic errors. e.g. night time greater than duration, etc.
