A lot of airlines looked at the -600 like a -700 with limitations. Not a whole lot of airlines ordered it, just a handful airlines in Asia, Europe, and Africa. In fact, until Janet started replacing their -200s with -600s, a USAF ex-Lauda -600 based at Tinker AFB and it was the only US based -600.

So not that many were actually produced. Good thing Boeing revamped it quickly...

Are there sky-marshalls on these flights and if so, do they have alien-wear so they can blend?

I'll neither confirm or deny ever working a Janet flight, but I do know its tough to get slime stains out of sport coats
