Effect of Phil Trenery Still Being Felt

plz i knew that. but when you make so much money you just don't notice a few g's here or a few g's there.

Man, are they hiring? :) I know if I was missing a couple G's, it'd be like Rick Ross up in here.

I'm pretty stupid when it comes to stocks and such, but anybody know why our stock jumped 15% on Friday? Is it just the normal up and down swings of the market these days? I guess since our stock dropped 88% the past year a 15% bump is really nothing.

When the stock tanks this low, some hedge fund buying up low price stock in a hope it rebounds 15% and then selling it tomorrow is good income. Do not look at stock prices, no matter what people tell you. If you believed these jumps then Mesa should have had 200 christmas's and all of skywests airplanes with the number of 25% jumps up and down they had each week when they were a penny stock.

Isn't there supposed to be some uber-important announcement from 9E today?

Word is CEO will make some sort of announcement on Monday. Just what I heard in the crew room so take it with a grain of salt. I thought it was always FU Fridays, not FU Mondays.

That being said I've still been watching the Google News ticker all day. I'm sure Sean is on a lunch break right now though.

Monday's news: Shawn Menke takes golden parachute and bails. New, even nicer guy, CEO to be tapped next. This one will actually hug everyone he meets.

His name is Jimmy, formerly an orderly.

I've been trying to find that but didn't know it was called 'Alerts'. I've been searching around news.google.com all day looking for it.

In related news... Google Alerts may cause increased risk of high blood pressure, graying hair, and/or hair loss.

I heard a rumor the bankruptcy is just a ploy, we're actually buying FedEx and all current employee's will move to the left seat of the wide body of their dreams, will get 22 days off a month and 24/7/365 per-diem at a rate of $5.62 per hour. Also, due to the looming pilot shortage, all pilots who care to stay through the merger will be awarded $500k annually, plus 500 hours of personal use of any of the fleet aircraft. Drop/swaps will all be done electronically and the words "denied" will be banished from the "company" side of the language. Only crew members will be able to use the word "denied." This will only be allowed during discussion with scheduling and/or dispatch. Oh, yeh, we're changing the face of the career as well. No more 5 day trips. It is now a 9-5, m-f job.

Oh and we're getting a.) ponies b.) pots of gold and c.) iPad flight bags.

Now, everyone, mill about smartly and pretend I didn't tip you off...

True. Their not always the best spellers. There more concentrated on they're flying skills. its a good thing you don't to need right much in this job or your not going to be in you're position very long.

I'm not sure if I should like your post for it's brilliance, or report it because it's making me cringe :)
