Effect of Phil Trenery Still Being Felt

After listening into the conference call, I have to admit, I kind of don't want to give any concessions in my pay. It would be one thing if I saw that the operation was efficient and as a last final resort they went after my pay to save the company, but I watch 10's of thousands of dollars just get wasted everywhere on a daily basis and don't really feel i need to subsidize that with a 2 dollar an hour decrease in my pay.

That being said, do we get a vote or say in any proposed concessions or is all of that agreed to by our officers?

All the pay cuts in the world won't make a dent in an inefficient operation or the lease agreements signed when blitzed on new CEO glee.

I'll trade one month of actually following the contract in exchange for concessions and under that deal we will never give concessions.

How bad must your business plan be to ask regional pilots for concessions? That's nuts.

Hehe, I know the regional hate is strong with many on this board but it's not like we haven't made advances on our contract over the years. We aren't mainline pay but there's plenty to cut off our collective wages and give to upper management as a bonus.

I hate no sector, we're all in this together.

What happens at the majors trickles down to the regionals.

What happens at the regionals trickle up to the majors.

You figure national would spark up the SPC up to start the discussion that professional pilot pay isn't the problem, but I suppose "El Presidenté" is keeping his powder dry for, well, I don't know.

Save executive bonuses!!! I do respect that he has frozen his own bonuses and pay increase for 12 though.

Well perhaps I'm jumping all over the few posters here with regoinal hate and attributing to a larger number of board members than is real.

Moak has a lot on his plate, they have to make the forgiveness of GoJet's palatable to the masses. We aren't quite at a 1984'esk brainwashing where we will simply accept a new enemy each week and tear down all the posters we hung up last night and pretend it was all a giant trick by the "enemy". In time though, in time.

After that I'm sure Moak is hard at work to figure out how to make mainline pilots relax that scope again. He wouldn't want to lose any sleep when there's pilots contract language left to cleave into.

Yes, another management trick which will lead to an even larger compensation package... not see through at all.

Form of...... Form of..... dammit, I need to find my thinking cap.

i know right his 2013 bonus will be huge!

Well, If he gets this ship turned around, and, we end up not having to give up anything, then he kinda deserves it. If somebody dropped this mess in my lap, and I got it cleaned up, I'd want a damn nice bonus, and a vacation house as well.

He knew it was a mess coming in. The labor costs are not the issues as he said, it's operating 3 different certficates. I think PT saw that, and thats why they moved so quickly to get the JCBA in place.

If stock gets close to $1.00 a share, I'll prob. pick up 1000 shares.. again, see what happens.
