education to enter

I say Physics was super easy, I confess I screwed up the curve in my class cause my absolute grade was high. However I dropped Dewar's class since I could hardly understand what he would say, I took it with Wagner, and yeah he is a very easy going professor.

You do not really need to take any math in hs. because they will test you and place you into what ever math class you need to be in. You only need applied calc to get the BS in commercial aviation.

What's wrong with his asking questions here?

this thread is solely devoted to academic/administrative questions regarding pre-req's and an academic advisor or admissions counselor would be able to more accurately and definitively answer his questions about what is required or not.

It's highly political.

i don't know if getting hired is political. NOT getting hired is political.

i got hired without much apparent hardship. i kiss no butt, i sweet talk nobody in a position of power. i did mediocre in most classes outside of aviation (and a few aviation-related as well). i took the written, passed the sim, did the interview. obviously i don't know what was said about me in the roundtable. i doubt any of the board there knew who i was...maybe that worked to my advantage. i didn't do anything special to get hired except know my stuff and be an average instrument pilot.

on the other hand, that doesn't mean that it isn't a highly-coveted job.
