I read today in Airliner World magazine that easyJet is supposed to be getting a single 747-200 for use this summer. Making them the first European low cost airline to operate a 747. Does anyone know anything about this? This sounds a little crazy to me.

I knew this was too bizarre, the registration on the aircraft is I-GOTU , darn another April Fools Joke!

Yeah, I read about that too. It will obviously be used on routes with very heavy usage, such as to the Med.

It looks pretty weird to me, being used to seeing only 737's in easyjet colours.

It won't be used at all it is an April Fools joke! Read my entire post, but yes it would be weird if true.

A 747, wow, I hope Easy Jet knows what they are doing, 3 types of aircraft in their fleet, getting kind of expensive.

I better stop reading post's when I am half asleep...
