Eastern 3?

I once said, "yeah thats the old TWA terminal, Jetblue bought it and are gonna so something with it." A grown man and woman older than me asked a bunch of questions, like who is twa, how could they go bankrupt flying in and out of ny? If they owned terminal 3 too and thats why its not listed. What other airlines are gone. I thought i was being punked on the airtrain mid jfk.

I dont know if Average Q Public knows about any of this stuff.

When talking to people and mentioning who I flew for, IN ATLANTA NO LESS, I frequently run into people who don’t remember who AirTran was. It’s only been ten years since the merger, and only six years since the name and livery disappeared. I’ve resorted to just saying Southwest now, as much as that pains me.

Understandable if you're talking to someone outside the industry.

Whats worse is playing the jumpseat game with the geriatrics at the legacies and they ask me if I'm familiar with the jumpseat of the A320.
I usually say I've played a lot of Flight sim, and read the airliners.net forums. I think I can figure it out.

I was jumpseating on Delta out of Atlanta one time back in the day, and there was also an Endeavor guy hitching a ride. Both of us go up to talk to the captain and ask for our ride. The Endeavor guy hands over his ID, and the Delta captain looks at it and says “who the hell is Endeavor?”

When you don’t even know who your airline is outsourcing all of your flying to, you’re the problem.
