Eaglevoy new TA

If they don't have money to pay their pilots fair wages then they should not be an airline. Don't make silly statements.

And I'm not sure what you mean by one of "those". I don't deny psa guys my jumpseat or verbally abuse them. I just am not going to be ok that they continued this stupid "I'll do anything for a quick upgrade and new jeeeeetttsss"

Please define "fair".

The company told envoy multiple times that this was it...envoy thought they were bluffing.

This is the part I really don't understand. "Envoy" thought they were bluffing." What, did they think there was a big pile of money sitting around somewhere just waiting for them to grab? This stuff isn't alchemy. It's a pretty straight-forward thing to analyze revenue vs. cost and make a decision about whether or not it makes business sense to do this or do that.

Just out of curiosity, who does the negotiating on the pilots' side? My understanding is that it's pilots. Fine and dandy, but there's a reason companies use firms like Ford and Harrison.

Results speak for themselves. The new management team seems to be doing much better with the same airline.

Define "much better"

I hear folks getting displaced from their base, 30% reserve coverage, upgrades 8 years and climbing and FOs running like the place is on fire

So back to the topic of the Envoy TA.....

I didn't know this thread could take so many turns. Why don't we start talking about ATA now?

Performance, which I'm sure you'd agree was the root of all the problems we were having.

I hate to go off topic and talk about Envoy in this thread, but here is an update:

Word is that voting will close Christmas Eve. This is still unofficial, of course but that is the word.

Also, I'm sure many would like to know that Charlie is losing his ever loving mind on Facebook. Now he is attacking Ray for "selling" this TA. Of course he was perfectly ok with the Union promoting a NO vote last time. He didn't mind when reps would hand out NO buttons at road shows.

But now he is really, really butt hurt. It's unfortunate for him that people have come to their senses and he is one of the last nuts left in the nuthouse.

I think his point is that you and @Seggy don't really have a clue how "weak" he was, because you weren't there.

I can understand Seggy, but I saw the man work countless times. Additionally I saw how horrible his line of thinking was and how down right stubborn he was with folks who had more experience on certain subject matter.

Contrary to what Marcus believes.

Opens on the 16th and closes on the 23rd, at the request of Sam.
