Eagle Desperate

It means they're really hurting for pilots! They must be willing to soften the mins to meet their hiring needs depending on the level of experience the applicant has.

The hiring is still going full swing... I am waiting for my class date from them. July 9th for me hopefully. (what really sucks for me is that my current airline found out that I interviewed so I had to turn in my 2 weeks before having a solid class date)

I interviewed with 8 guys. 8 made it to the sim. I am not sure how many offers were given. (7 conditionals were handed out with the medical) Having had 121 experience the interview was a breeze for me... mostly just "we know you already know (insert concept here) - so let's ask you a couple of small, easy questions because we have to." Whereas I was expecting... "What is the Torque limitation on the B-1900D?", "Describe exemption 3585 and tell me if I can go based on this departure and destination weather... Do I need an alternate? A second alternate?"

They are still letting you pick a base. (LAX and the SAAB for me - I don't want to give up my hand flying and I am sick of commuting 1/2 way across the country on reserve)

It seems like a awesome place to work and I am going to be happy living and flying at home.

Kind of off topic on the hiring but I just found out that they have a Bridge Program now with Lewis University also.

I think most of the airlines are now wanting to start bridge programs with a lot of the universities and flight schools; my flight school I attend has gotten a couple calls, Pinnacle the latest, that wants to start a bridge program.

My old flight instructor is flying out of MIA in the ATR to SJU all the time and Eagle has had him based in SJU for 1 month at a time with a big pay bonus for the month to stay down there. I believe in November his seat-lock runs out and he can bid for a base/plane he wants.

Have the upgrades sped up much yet?
