It sure is going to be an interesting summer. ALPA told management to start hiring and upgrading a long time before they actually started. Management thought the flowthroughs that are apart of the grievance wouldn't go to AA until 2013, all of them will be there by May. I'm curious as to what this agreements will be to help mitigate the issue this summer.
PBS, anyone? Line values in excess of 91 hours planned? Reduced days off? I'm this will be the killjoy side to whatever good comes of this.
At this point PBS can't help us. +91 can help a little but that also leads to guys timing out in Nov,Dec. I hate to say it but I would look for CHQ to get more flying. They are the only company that might have bodies to fill seats and a few planes sitting around.
American Eagle Pilot Recruitment wanted to share some exciting news with you. American Eagle began hiring over a year ago. We hired 255 pilots in 2010. Our hiring projections for 2011 is over 620 pilots. Why the big increase? Four main factors are driving the increase:
• Delivery of new CRJs
• Senior Pilots Flowing to American Airlines
• Increased capacity and expanding route structure
• Impending changes to the rest rules
If you would like to be a part of these exciting times, make sure you have filled out the application for American Eagle Airlines including our addendum. We are interviewing every week and pilot classes are starting every other week. It would be our pleasure to have you come for an interview so we can meet and discuss your employment possibilities with American Eagle.
If you have an application on file and are interested in a pilot position please send your resume to: AePilotRecruitment@aa.com

One of my friends at Eagle (CR7 LGA, B) has something like a 95-hour line when last we talked.
Me, me, hire me!![]()
We have a temporary letter waiving the normal 91 hour line construction limit IIRC. Currently, the company and the union are working to offer financial incentives to pilots to make it worth our while to spend a little more time on the clock in the months to come. Surprise, surprise- the staffing situation in the airline world is already creating pressure to raise compensation. Kind of a roundabout way to it.. but it's starting to manifest in weird ways.
You bite your tongue, firebird! Pilot pay will never increase! Just look at the millions of eager students at ERAU and UND right now waiting for the opportunity to work for free....

Well...been doing some askin' around and "technically" I missed this bid by 1 number. However, three dudes senior to me (that I know of) are holding out. So...I'm still AT LEAAST 4 away. Oh the horrors!!!!![]()
So does this make you the the number 1 number 2?
So where are all these new FO's going? I'd assume ORD or LGA? MIA on the ATR even?
Since becoming a member on the board I've learned to be ok with non 121 flying, but Eagle has always interested me...

Good news looks like another bid is coming out with 34 upgrades, but not backfilling first 4 JCE. check RF 424 BID1
