Dynamic Aviation

I really like those westwind conversions. If only Volpar left the tailwheel on, they would have had the ultimate beech 18.

Same here. Got a call and an email in last few weeks, but have started a 121 job in the meantime.

So my information from DA is a few years old, but I worked for them for a long time and overall enjoyed my experience. Within ADA I had the opportunity to fly low/high level aerial survey all over the world.

As an FO, you can probably expect to make around 30-40k over the course of a year. It may be more or it may be less depending on how busy your year is. When not out on a project, you're expected to be working in the shop and without an A&P your hourly pay is pretty low.

I averaged about 400 hours per year when flying ADA. ADA is a great opportunity to get hands on aircraft flying and really learn how to precisely fly the aircraft. You don't get much or sometimes any IFR experience so you'll get rusty.

Schedule is all over the place as you may have 12/24 or sometimes several weeks notice about an upcoming survey project. That said, Dynamic is a good company and the ADA managers etc will work with you as best as they can to make life livable.

I'm sure you've got more questions than I covered, so if you have any more just ask.

Please, I have four years aerial mapping, 2 type ratings, a clearance and King Air time and they wont call.
I applied for the Fire Management pilot job last month, they just emailed me last week saying they would interview for ADA if I wanted
2 years mapping, no turbine time/types, just lots of multi piston PIC

That's OK. I wound up with a much better deal in a KA350.

There are a bunch of dudes leaving their regionals after a year of turbine Multi time and heading over to the ISR side of the house. Not sure what's going on with the Dash but just about every other company is looking for pilots for their programs.

Guys who don't have a clearance often start at dynamic then move around. Other companies have started hiring guys without clearances as well.

Howdy. Dynamic is a big conglomerate. They have various contracts doing various things fromISR contracts over seas to dropping may flies. My classmate did that. He was paid about 12 bucks an hour to fly a king air to drop may flies. Not a lot, but he wracked up his twin time and now is a pilot for skywest. He was based out of So Cal for that operation. Sorry I really don't have a lot more info for you. He worked in a small fraction of the larger whole.
$12/ hr to fly a King Air? Was this single pilot or some kind of SIC deal?

Dynamic doesn't operate any of their kingairs single pilot. They use two crew almost at all times. I flew for them for 6 years and actually never once flew a kingair solo.
