Dynamic Aviation

Hello all!

As anyone worked for or with Dynamic Aviation as a Survey or Data Acquisition Pilot? I filled out their questionnaire a few months ago and they just recently replied suggesting that position. I'm curious if anyone has any insight on the schedule, type and location of flying, QOL, etc. Any help would be appreciated!

Howdy. Dynamic is a big conglomerate. They have various contracts doing various things fromISR contracts over seas to dropping may flies. My classmate did that. He was paid about 12 bucks an hour to fly a king air to drop may flies. Not a lot, but he wracked up his twin time and now is a pilot for skywest. He was based out of So Cal for that operation. Sorry I really don't have a lot more info for you. He worked in a small fraction of the larger whole.

I only have experience on the ISR side. It was a great company to work for... Sorry I don't have any real insight on the other ops.

If I am able to get my foot in the door at Dynamic I would like to eventually end up doing some of the ISR flying. Did you see any lateral movement while you were there?

I have several friends at Dynamic. From what I have HEARD ISR contracts are/have ended, and ADA has hit a slow season, and people have been let go, and people currently there are not having as much work. I do have a friend at MedFly however, and they seem to be more isolated from the issue at hand as they continue to fulfill an important contract out in SoCal. Overall a great place to work to build some quick multi turbine time. Dynamic really prefers Pilot/Mechanics so if you're a pilot with an A&P they will be much more favorable in hiring you. A large percentage of their pilots are also A&Ps. Hope this info helps!

Any idea. Why they have a job posting in the Dash?

Like I said I've only HEARD, hence it's a rumor. A lot of my friends at Dynamic said they have Dash 8s parked everywhere at Bridgewater. This may be changing, I am not in the KNOW.
Gotcha. I was just curious because they called me for an interview late last year in the Dash.

@Cheechako :)

Been a loooooong time....
I worked MedFly in Socal (when it was still K&K Aircraft) and absolutely loved it! I agree with the Pilot/Mechanic preference.
