Dump Forks

I'm gonna dissagree with Mazda getting worse, I think their selection of cars has gotten much better, can't say much for quality though as I've never driven one. That mazda 6 looks pretty sweet, and how can you not like the RX-8?

I drove an RX-8 at the MazdaSpeed event in San Diego. It handled really well, thanks to rear-wheel drive. It lacks torque, but that's because it's a rotary engine and you can't expect much for torque out of a rotary. If I can remember right the RX-8 redlines at 9,000 and it really pulls when you're up near that range. I got it to oversteer and do a power slide around a turn (it was a closed track event in a parking lot). Overall I think Mazda made a major improvement in the quality of their cars...the Miata has always been known for being reliable and a great track car. Anyone else here into autocrossing?

Cool looking cars dont mean good cars. Im sure Mazada has gotten better but they are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to Japanese cars.

thruthfully, i'll probably need a cold one or three after my night X-C tomorrow. i sure as hell needed one after our first day X-C yesterday. damn near had my first mid-air north of detroit lakes (with a sioux warrior, 250ND, no less). got my pulse up for a good 30 miles or so. close enough to read the tail number = bad.

on a less exciting note....compliments. if you're like me, angel, you gotta take what you can from whoever is doling them out
