How In the F*%$ would you know what in the hell goes on at an ATC facility, and what reasons you're slowed blah blah....you're so all knowing etc etc...be the controller and pilot hot shot..we LOVE it when you know the entire story and sequence and "BIG PICTURE", cause after all, you know best big boy. I get that Seggy is irritating. He's become the new Todd. He somehow possess the ability to put a perfectly acceptable and agreeable thought in a way that makes you feel the exact opposite.
But what exactly are you expecting to accomplish with posts like this? He's not going to suddenly say "you know...you're right." He feeds on getting you worked up, just walk away and he'll cut it out. I know that's not fair, but I'm tired of this place turning into a pissing match in every single thread. I agree that he's starting it, but since he's not being put into time out it's up to us to make it stop.

While there's a lot of truth to that, sometimes you need to step back and say "hey, all these issues have this one common contributing factor, perhaps doing something about that one data point (one user) is the path of least resistance versus trying to change all the others". I don't care too much one way or the other since I don't see the worst of the nonsense, but even with that on the block list it gets kind of tiring seeing innocuous or informative threads turned into one-sided pissing matches because one user can't help himself when it comes to goading other people.

Not that my opinion matters whatsoever, but Seggy has made this site intolerable at times. I don't remember the last time I posted, and my participation has declined a lot in the last few years. A huge part of that is Seggy, He trolls most of the time, and ruins most threads he's in.
All you have to do is not show up if you don't want to be on the board.
There is no glory for pulling the pin on a grenade throwing it three feet and then jumping on it and declaring yourself a martyr.
It's a fun site because of a high expectation of decorum.

I think there's a particular point at which when the average weekly temperature goes up, people start getting a little extra cranky online.
The winter was so smooth and boring as a moderator, but it seems that mid-July through early September, y'all get a little extra testy.

I would agree. Even though I can't see anything he posts, he still manages to take threads off the rails. I mean this thread pretty much belongs in the lavatory now and it started about something incredibly important. Much more important than some child with an internet connection's ability to get off on pissing off everyone else.
