DTW Parking Info

Just found out a few days ago that airlines parking is going to stop offering monthly passes and go to $5 a day. I know the MacNamera lot got split a few years ago and they have a SIDA and NON-SIDA bus when all the Delta pilots turned in their SIDA badges. Does anyone know if the North lot is the same? I've emailed the company and am waiting to hear back if we can get access to the North employee lot...

Let us know what you hear, or if you find parking anywhere else. I think the guy who owns airlines parking owns all the other off site lots also, so if the deal is gone at airlines parking, it's probably gone elsewhere.

Signature allows crews to use their lot and they'll shuttle you over to the terminal. I use them as a last resort if the wife can't drop me off. You'll need to call and talk to the GM for prior approval.

Will do. Yes the same guy owns all three lots so I would garner the charge is at all his lots. I can’t imagine them having money issues. I have heard from some drivers they are having a hard time finding help.

Also talked to them today on the way out and they said only NK is keeping the parking as NK pays them directly and has a contract.

I imagine the guy thinks he can squeeze the commuting pilots for twice what they're paying now.

I called around to the other lots today, Quik Park will do $4 a day.

DTW says that employee lot passes are handed out by individual airlines, though the person I talked to didn't really seem to understand what a commuting pilot is.

Still $4 vs $5 is not a big difference and I would suspect they may increase next year. Yes, you are required to get the parking pass from airline mgmt which will have to be DTW since NY is only willing to write letters... I emailed a different DTW manager since I never got a response from the first person.

Email the chief pilots office, there's a solution in the works.

I did today and got the forms filled out. The admin were quite helpful.

Please let the DTW commuters to contact them as they would like to turn the forms in in a batch. DTW commuters just need to email the JFK PILOT ADMIN

Progress is slow but they are making progress on the BOS pilots. They should be setup shortly.

Anyone know where the employee bus drops off at the north terminal ?
