DTW Crashpad

I believe most of them are hotel crash pads around here, but someone who actually uses them could chime in better than I...

Oh and welcome to DTW! :)

That's not bad. Especially if the hotel provides transportation. Just hopefully I can find one that doesn't have 20 people to one room or something. Anyone else know anything more?

Unfortunately that's kind of the gig in DTW. Fortunately hotel rooms are REALLY cheap. If you want a decent pad you'll need a car.

with the housing market in Detroit you could start your own and make money on the side...

There are a few crashpads around DTW, but you need to have a car for most. There is a pad that is run by a DL guy that has two crashpad cars.

Like mentioned, most crashpads are in hotels. If you only need a place a few times a month, most hotels are about $40/night out the door. Places like the Howard Johnson, Clarion, Comfort Inn, etc. also rent on a monthly basis and allow crashpads to be established. Prices can be around $600-$900/month, depending how many people you have you can do the math per person.
