That's an awesome show and some incredible flying!
It certainly gives me confidence in the low speed/high AOA handling characteristics of the Super Cub!
Granted my dads is only a 135 HP but the fact that he was able to snatch it around without it departing is pretty cool. It's full weight and doesn't have any high lift devices. The 180 HP engine helps quite a bit though, :laff:
Surprised to read that he have steel wingtip bows, just a steel cover over the tips - seems that the wooden wingtip bows might crack if he put a wing down hard enough, but they seem to be pretty stout.
