DPE recommendations for the D/FW area

I will be taking my instrument checkride in the next month. I am not looking for an examiner to just hand me the ticket nor one who traditionally gives a 4 hour oral. Someone fair and balanced. I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, fly out of ADS, but will use whomever comes highly recommended. Links to write-ups would also be much appreciated.

Harry Andonian at KGVT. Great guy, very fair, and won't just hand over the rating. If you can't get ahold of his contact info let me know, I am in that area a lot.

He did my private and I thought he was going to land the plane in a field and beat the crap out of me. Then a few years later he did my multi-comm and was totally different. When I asked him about it he responded "I was trying to see how you handled pressure."

Great stories, great pilot, great teacher but not my first choice as a DPE.

Thanks for the recommendations. I hear great things about Norm Seward from some of the locals around the airport so I think I am going to go with him. If anyone has checked out with him on your instrument or commercial, please let me know know what you know.

He's a really nice man. I did my CSEL with him last month. PM me if you have any questions.

Absolutely a great guy. I did a few checkrides with Norm and I enjoyed every single one.
 
Given the choice between Santa Claus and the "fair, balanced" examiner.............I'll take Santa Claus, thanks... :D
