Dude....A day late and a dollar short. I believe he is in transition training now. GOing to the MD90 (I believe) and will be SLC based.

Doug is now headed back to the -90 and will based in SLC. I am sure he will update that picture with the SLC terminal.

Delta doesnt fly the -88 out of SLC. The performance numbers arent very good from my understanding. Has something to do with trying to climb over mountains.

Delta might not...but been to SLC on more then one occassion and American does operate MD- 81-82-83 out of SLC!

We flew into ATL late wednesday evening, I did MD-90 differences training in the morning, Kristie flew to Michigan. I got done with training and flew up to meet her and the rest of the family on the lake.

Goin' back home now!

SLC is my new base, but since I commute, it's just primarily where I begin and end a trip before running across the terminal to catch a flight back home to Arizona.

I was DFW-based for almost four years and had never been east of the Jack In The Box by the Drury Inn and never north of Grapevine Mills mall!

Just wondering how long you had SLC on request as a base transfer, before you got it?

A couple weeks.

The hard part is trying to ferret out a decent, reliable commuter hotel! I've got a rate sheet with 'commuter-friendly' hotels, but we'll see how that goes.
