I hope you're not departing this a.m. They just had an a/c report breaking out on arrival at 300 agl. Wx looks nasty. Ground just told someone left on a, mb, b, short of kk and enjoy the sights......I'd be pulling my hair out if I hand any.:panic:

The ground guy is going nuts....Something about 20 entrail restrictions at wavey. Is that a normal distance or wx issues.....

no more a.net quesitons, I promise.

I'm supposed to do PHL-LGA-DAY-LGA-DAY today starting at noon. I'm really hoping they just send us PHL-DAY and cut us free. The nice thing about a little jet is that when restrictions go into place, we are often the first ones to get canceled. And 20 in trail over ELIOT is pretty normal so I would guess the same for WAVEY.

all his flights leave in the afternoon/evening..so no, he's sleeping in this morning! ;)

I'll be listening to ATC again this afternoon tho.. wonder who will have the radio and if they're ever allowed to say hi to people they know are listening? hahahaha

I'm actually really enjoying listening to ATC lately.. if only i had a Jepp chart of JFK in front of me , i'd be able to see/understand what taxiways are what...

;)

I'm leaving for Berlin early evening so it hopefully should be cleared up by then!

I'm leaving Teterboro in less than an hour. Hope we aren't too delayed coming out of here. Got in pretty easy this morning.

[fingers crossed mode]

hey all, first time poster (long time lurker)

I was on SWA 2159 this morning out of PHL (-> TPA) and it was a little rough through 10k but after the southbound turn things evened out...

fly safe (and nice to finally make your acquaintances)

Welcome, Mason! :)

The last time it was this bad in terms of visibility was just a few days ago, where leaving EWR, the visibility was less than 1/4 mile. One of our boys had to go around on approach, and the NEWARK SEVEN was modified to "fly runway heading to 2000". Needless to say, we had to get a takeoff alternate. :)

Well, it wasn't too bad. We ended up the day being only 1 hour late, but it certainly did involve sitting around a lot waiting to go.

Today was an easy day. Only flew 5 legs, only logged 7 hours of flying with actual time only at about 2.5 hours.

Only had to go missed twice today as well. The 7 ILS approaches were pretty easy, not to windy.

If you get more interested into other airports here is a link for you :)

www.airnav.com

Gives you basically all the information about the airport and has pdfs of all the charts for the airport..

And if you ever want to see the airspace of any airport in the US this site works great too, has all the aeronautical charts..
