I have personally never used and it was removed from my 727 long before I flew it. The Doppler Radar was used for navigation along with IRU's.

Does anyone have experience actually using this antique equipment?

...not to be confused with PHX Doppler, with 5 sweeps for better radar forcasting. Now, in HD, and only channel 15 has it!
